On Balance – A Photovoice Project on Work/Life Balance within AIB Technology teams.

The judges were very impressed with AIB’s unique and innovative approach to organisation development, which led to significant improvement in trust and flexibility in a challenging sector. The team led out with Photovoice to explore AIB employees’ real experience of agile/flexible working and balancing their work and life commitments.

Photovoice research was done by and with employees using photographs and group dialogue, to give voice to people’s lived experience and created a relatable photography exhibition. The judges praised this for its risk taking, its super unique approach, a real employee-led listening strategy and then great metrics to demonstrate how it developed trust and engagement.
