Bank of Ireland – Emerging Careers
This clear well-presented entry addressed the revamp of an early career programme to broaden and deepen the future talent pool within the Bank. It showed the connection between Emerging Careers and the business, and drove culture change while they did it.
Staff volunteered to support students in disadvantaged schools, bringing ED&I mainstream, embedding the CIPD principles and delivering a clear evidence base of outcomes and social impact. It was future focused, drew on earlier learnings and used practical, existing business solutions.
Tusla, Child and Family Agency – National Traveller and Roma Inclusion Strategy (NTRIS) – Pathways for education and employment.
This strong application had lots of passion as it set out to remove barriers for the Traveller and Roma communities. It established a pathway to academic study, paid placements and a Social Care career with Tusla, delivering clear social impact. It is directly meeting Tusla’s long term aim of improving staffing representation for children and families in minority groups, drawing in a wealth of experience and cultural awareness.
