‘BeMe@ESB – Supporting LGBT+ in ESB’
Very thorough in getting the groundwork done from the ground and carefully embedded. This development in ESB impressed the judges in how it aligned to the business strategy, was carried out to a high standard and was authentic through and through. With high levels of organisational sponsorship, the energy and authenticity reflected the bottom approach, as the work started with an employee resource group.
There was consideration for all employee groups – including the technicians on the road, a critical eye on the data, training for 210 managers, all contributing to high levels of engagement across the organisation. Embedding the LGBT+ strategy helped to bring the organisation’s values to life in, with everyone encouraged to ‘BeMe‘ and face their own attributes.
