Aoife Hennessy – Grant Thornton

The judges were very impressed with this category. Aoife exemplifies a Rising Star, demonstrating a well researched, well delivered new programme for Grant Thornton. She made an exceptional contribution to developing a domestic abuse policy for employees.

She took the lead in crafting a policy to provide resources and support, that also brought a culture of openness and understanding. She engaged stakeholders at all levels, overcame resistance and her out-of-the-box thinking led to a highly impactful program with clear impact.

Aoife’s approach is a role model to her peers and to all of us. And the judges recommended that we call out her Coach/ Mentor Louise, who exemplified great mentorship.
