Human Resources Director, Choice Hotel Group

Cathal is responsible for leading the Human Resources function for Choice Hotel Group, an Irish-owned hospitality group with hotel operations throughout Ireland.

An experienced HR professional across public and private sector appointments spanning over two decades, with previous HR senior roles at Ability West, Shannon Group plc, Galway Business School and the Defence Forces.

Former CIPD Ireland Western Region Chairperson 2017 – 2019 and committee member 2016 – 2020.  Member of the CIPD Ireland HR Awards judging panel since 2018.

Current board member at Baboró International Children’s Arts Festival.
