‘Becoming Virgin. How the Virgin people team stepped up to help deliver our brand promise.’
On an October day in 2015, workers arrived with ladders to UPC sites across Ireland. Signs labelled ‘UPC’ were removed, and replaced with amazing new red signs emblazoned with the word ‘Virgin’. But what was going on inside the buildings was a completely different story, challenging the Virgin people team to step up to help deliver on that Virgin Brand promise.
The judges commented on the audacious goal, very clear objectives and strategy to address the transformation of the business. The team delivered KPI’s on business impact and people indicators, demonstrated innovation and a high level of enthusiasm and passion.
