Chris O’Donovan is Human Resources Director at Shannon Group plc, an Airport, Property and Tourism business in the Mid–West. Chris is a Fellow of CIPD, an executive coach and accredited workplace mediator.

Before Shannon Group, Chris worked for Ibec in the roles of Regional Director and Industrial Relations Executive. A graduate of University College Dublin and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Chris is a strong advocate for HR professionals being business partners who bring their HR expertise to the party.

CSR has underpinned his values approach to working with people in both private and state sector enterprises to date. Outside of work, Chris’ voluntary work includes being part of the Samaritans Training team helping to onboard and mentor new volunteers in Samaritans Ireland.
