‘DFA – Embedding a culture of workplace wellbeing’
With 2,400 staff operating globally across 92 missions overseas, health and wellbeing of staff of the Department of Foreign Affairs are challenged geographically, culturally and by the demanding nature of diplomatic and consular work; all accentuated during COVID.
The judges found evidence of a comprehensive wellbeing programme embedded in the organisation, demonstrating a holistic and innovative approach, with evidence of sustainability.
The judges felt it was an admirable response to global needs of employees operating in challenging environments.
