‘HSE-HIHI Spark Ignite’

The Spark initiative was set up to drive an innovation mindset in the health sector by empowering the best ideas in frontline health services and supporting them to come to life.

The programme operates as a mini accelerator process with staff pitching for funding, getting training support and external mentorship.

The judges were impressed by the high levels of commitment despite the pressure of COVID-19, and the stories of innovation and positive impact on front line delivery, making a real difference to patient care.
