‘Developing female talent at each stage of the Talent Pipeline’

A challenge facing Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail was the low level of female participation in senior management.

In 2019 they set targets to develop women across all stages of the talent pipeline. Programmes were specifically designed with female leaders in mind, exploring the underlying challenges and personal barriers experienced.

The judges commented on the genuine and authentic progress of a business need, with evidence of a very progressive Learning and Development initiative.
