Brian Harney BA (Hons), MBS, PhD (Cambridge), MCIPD is Professor of Strategy & HRM and Head of the Work, Psychology and Strategy Group at Dublin City University Business School. Brian researches the intersection of Strategy, HRM and employee experiences of work with a particular focus on SMEs, scaling, and knowledge-intensive sectors.

He is the author of several books including recent edited collections The Global HR Case Book (Routledge), Reframing HRM in SMEs (Palgrave Macmillan) and Protecting the Future of Work (Emerald).
