Cathal holds a Human Resources management function for a number of hotel properties in the Irish portfolio of Leonardo Hotels UK&I.

An experienced HR professional across public and private sector appointments spanning over two decades, with previous senior HR roles at Choice Hotel Group, Ability West, Shannon Group plc, Galway Business School and the Defence Forces.

Former CIPD Ireland Western Region Chairperson 2017 – 2019 and committee member 2016 – 2020.  Member of the CIPD Ireland HR Awards judging panel since 2018.
