Dr Colette Darcy is Dean of the School of Business at National College of Ireland and a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management. She is a former Government of Ireland Scholar and was awarded the European Foundation for Management Development/ Emerald Outstanding Doctoral Thesis Award for her research examining employee fairness perceptions and claiming behaviour. Colette is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and the University of Limerick. Prior to returning to academia, Colette worked in management consultancy for a number of years and was recently appointed an Honorary Fellow of the Recruitment Federation of Ireland.
Colette has published her work in a number of top international peer reviewed journals including Human Resource Management and The International Journal of Human Resource Management. Her main research interests include talent management, fairness perceptions, work-life balance and organisational justice.
