Musgraves Operating Partners Ireland

‘The Inspire Programme’

This was a powerful and impactful initiative that optimised learning and development. The most impactful role in Musgraves Operating Partners was identified as that of the Duty Manager in each store and a unique training programme Inspire was created. Every single Duty Manager was involved in the programme and its design.

The programme was highly collaborative, very considerate in view of the learner profile, and has had a strong individual impact. Each store had to deliver continuous improvement to cover the costs. It was clearly HR led, driven and delivered and enabled learning and business results. An impressive investment that has delivered value for money.

Highly commended

LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children Hospice

‘Employee support through storytelling’

Laura Lynn provides palliative care and support for children with life-limiting conditions. They introduced the Swartz model of Basic values to support the staff who operate in difficult circumstances. The team, through storytelling, put supports in place for staff to make “the unbearable, bearable”, and so helped build relationships, and improved collaboration especially among clinical and non-clinical staff. The judges commented on the highly committed and passionate team.
